Discuss a variety of indigenous and native cultures (e.g Aboriginal Australians, Native Americans, Native Canadians, Maori, etc.)
I am from the Wiradjuri
tribe, I have Aboriginal Australian blood in me from my Mum's side, Our totem is the iguana
which means we cannot eat that animal because if we do, we'd be disrespecting our tribe and culture.
I don't look indigenous but I know I have the heritage of it.
Also, did you know only a handful of Aboriginal Australian languages are still around when there used to be 200+? A language for each suburb/area possibly.
What about you? Do you have any cultural roots and backgrounds?
